8:00 AM: Pickup at your hotel

8:30 AM: Visit Hoa Lo Prison, built and used by French rulers in Vietnam for political prisoners, and later by the government of North Vietnam for war prisoners. This building is also known as “Hanoi Hilton” and “hosted” some American prisoners, including Senator John McCain and Pete Peterson, the United States’ first post-war ambassador to Vietnam in 1997.

10:00 AM: Continue to the B-52 Victory Museum, which displays relics of the B-52 Stratofortress, an aircraft that played a major role in the American War. On the way back, you will also see a small lake that contains the wreckage of a B-52 bomber shot down over Hanoi in 1972 (now called B-52 Lake).

11:00 AM: Visit the Back Market, a bustling market that became notorious during the Vietnam War. The Hanoi bazaar is a chaotic maze of zigzagging alleyways, filled with local vendors selling everything from food to wartime relics. This is a place where history comes alive, and you will be fascinated by the stories it holds.
