TOUR ITINERARY

07:30 – Pick up from your hotel in Hue by private car and experienced driver. Transfer to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in Quang Tri province.

09:00 – Stop at La Vang Holy Land, an important Catholic pilgrimage site in Hai Lang district. Learn about the apparition of Mary in 1978 and visit the grand church near the three banyan trees.

Meet your professional tour guide, possibly Ms. Thach, a renowned DMZ guide who hosted Anthony Bourdain on his Vietnam journey.

Travel along Highway 9 and admire Rockpile Hill, a former US military base. Stop for photos.

Visit Dakrong Bridge, the start of Highway 15 and a key branch of the Ho Chi Minh Trail leading to the A Shau Valley and “Hamburger Hill.”

Explore Khe Sanh Combat Base, the massive Marine base attacked by the North Vietnamese Army in 1968.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Dong Ha town (included in Option B).

14:00 – Visit Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, the historic demarcation line between North and South Vietnam during the Geneva Agreement.

15:00 – Explore Vinh Moc Tunnels, an underground village built to avoid bombardment from 1965 to 1966, including wells, kitchens, family rooms, meeting areas, and healthcare clinics.

16:30 – Begin return trip to Hue city. Arrive at your hotel around 20:00.
