Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa – Cat Cat Village

Meet at the bus station, board the sleeper bus, and depart for Sapa.

07:30 – 11:45

Travel along the highway toward Lao Cai with a comfort break.

11:45 – 13:00

Continue on the mountain road to Sapa Town, passing magnificent valleys and terraced rice fields.

Arrive in Sapa Town, where ethnic groups such as H’Mong, Dzao, and Tay wear their traditional colorful costumes.

Walk to Cat Cat Village, home of the Black H’Mong ethnic minority. Explore daily life, traditional crafts, and trek down to the valley to visit the French-built hydraulic power station and the waterfall. Continue trekking uphill for beautiful late-afternoon scenery before returning to Sapa.

Return to Sapa Town. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Sapa – Bac Ha Market – Lao Cai – Hanoi

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

Breakfast at hotel, prepare luggage, and check out for Bac Ha.

Drive 2.5 hours to Bac Ha Town, home of the Flower H’Mong people.

Visit Bac Ha Market, the most vibrant weekly market in Northern Vietnam featuring dozens of ethnic groups trading handicrafts, livestock, food, and local products.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, take a short walk to:

• Hoang A Tuong Palace (built in 1914 in French–Vietnamese architectural style)

• Pho Village of the Flower H’Mong People

Trekking distance: 3 km – approx. 2 hours

Depart Bac Ha and drive 1 hour 45 minutes to Lao Cai City (not returning to Sapa).

Board the shuttle bus back to Hanoi.

20:30 – 21:00

Arrive at Hanoi bus station. The trip ends.
