10:00 Arrive at Quang Phu Cau Village, renowned for its century-old incense-making tradition. Capture picture-perfect moments with beautifully arranged incense bunches and engage with friendly locals to learn about process of making traditional incense.
12:00 Arrive in Chuong village, you start to visit a traditional rural house in Northern Vietnam. Appreciate the original wooden house architecture with high technic by old craltsmans and you also have opportunity to participate in a cooking class led by locals. Enjoy a satisfying lunch featuring dishes you’ve prepared yourself.
13:00 After the lunch, enjoy fresh green tea. Which is not easy to be seen and enjoy in the city. Relax and indulge in the peaceful scenery of rural Vietnam.
14:00 In order to know more about Chuong village, you can ride bicycle to go arround the village, stop at an pagoda with old architecture near by a dyke. Which was built in the past to protect the villages from flood season. Next one will be a temple. Which worships village tutelary god and also a cuitural center for almost activities of villagers in the past.You learn more about the custom of Viet namese people in the past.
14:30 Start to experience traditional conical hat making of Chuong Village. Which celebrated for crafting Vietnam’s iconic conical hats. Learn the art of conical hat-making from local artisans. Especially you will be instructed to make conical hat- A very interesting experience,Then you get colours to draw your ideas on the hat. This is also a memorable gift to bring home. At the end you take some great pictures of conical hats and friendly local artisans.
At the end of the afternoon you get on the bus to go to visit Van Phuc silk villeage – a well known silk village with over one thousand years. Van Phuc silk were used for Kings and royal families. Under French priod time Van Phuc silk were. Where you have opportunity to get informations from the tour guide and see step by step of making traditional silk : Silkworms eat mulberry leaves and then spin silk to make nests. The silk is then woven into silk fabric.You may choose some nice silk presents as memory of the trip.
17:00 Board the bus for your return to Hanoi’s city center. End of the trip.
