Detailed Itinerary

8:00 AM (or 1:00 PM): Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby and transfer you to our bicycle shop to choose a suitable bike. Once you meet your local guide, you’ll get comfortable with your bicycle and receive a safety briefing. Then we’ll begin our ride!

We will cycle to see the amazing alley where the train passes through the residential area. Riding along the train track, you will explore part of the French Quarter with its old French colonial architecture. We will continue cycling through Ngoc Ha Flower Village, passing small narrow alleys and dark roads, seeing tall and narrow houses, and experiencing lively backstreets with chances to meet the friendly local people of Hanoi.

After a long ride through narrow streets, you will visit the site of an American B-52 aircraft that was shot down during the Christmas Bombing in 1972, now known as B-52 Lake. We then continue biking to one of the most beautiful areas of Hanoi West Lake where you can stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

Next, we will cycle back into the narrow roads to visit a local market and ride through the narrowest streets in Hanoi so you can see and feel how local people live. We then ride up to the Red River to visit a hidden village where locals grow their own crops such as vegetables, corn, bananas, and many types of fruits. You will have a chance to visit a local family living on the island in simple houses, yet always friendly and welcoming. This experience will help you learn and understand more about local life in different parts of the city.

After that, we continue cycling along the Red River bank to see the green farmlands and head to Long Bien Bridge the historic and oldest bridge in Hanoi where you can enjoy the views, history, and take photos.

To end the tour, we will take you to enjoy street food and a traditional egg coffee, then drop you off back at your hotel.
