Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Ha Giang City – Bac Sum Slope – Quan Ba Heaven Gate – Twin Mountains – Yen Minh – Tham Ma Slope – H’Mong King Palace – Dong Van Town

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

08:30 – The tour begins at our homestay in Ha Giang City. Your guide and driver will give you a short safety briefing before you hop into the jeep and start the journey.

You will notice a dramatic change in scenery as you leave the city and drive into the mountains. Along the way, you will:

• Stop at Bac Sum Slope to enjoy panoramic views and a refreshment break

• Continue to Quan Ba Heaven Gate and admire the sweeping mountain landscape

• See the famous Twin Mountains (Fairy Bosom Hills)

• Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Yen Minh Town

In the afternoon, the jeep takes you further along the Ha Giang Loop to:

• Tham Ma Slope – a stunning zigzag mountain road and classic photo stop

• H’Mong King Palace (Vuong Family Residence) – the former home of the H’Mong royal family, rich in history and traditional architecture

Arrive in Dong Van Town, check in at the homestay, have dinner, and enjoy free time to explore the old quarter in the evening.

Day 2: Dong Van Town – Volunteer Youth Monument – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River Viewpoint – Meo Vac – Ha Giang City → Hanoi

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast at the homestay, you will start one of the most beautiful driving sections in Vietnam:

• Drive along the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, known as the “Heaven Pass” of Ha Giang

• Stop at viewpoints to admire the dramatic cliffs and turquoise Nho Que River flowing far below

• Visit the Volunteer Youth Monument, a historical site along the pass

From Ma Pi Leng, continue by jeep towards Meo Vac, passing through impressive karst formations, terraced fields, and remote villages. You will:

• Discover stunning mountain scenery and rural life

• See various hill tribes, such as the H’Mong, in their colorful traditional clothing

• Have lunch at a local restaurant on the way

In the afternoon, the route leads you back to Ha Giang City, passing equally beautiful landscapes as the first day.

The tour ends in Ha Giang around 17:00.
You will then have free time for dinner on your own before boarding the night sleeper bus back to Hanoi at 21:00.
