This 4 day Ha Giang Easy Rider adventure is designed for travelers who want to fully explore the most spectacular landscapes of Northern Vietnam. From the clay-house villages of Nam Dam to the iconic Lũng Cú Flagpole, the legendary Mã Pí Lèng Pass, the hidden waterfall of Du Già, and countless remote villages this journey offers unmatched scenery, culture, history, and unforgettable local experiences.

Tour Overview

Hanoi → Ha Giang (Sleeper Bus)

Pick-up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and transfer to Ha Giang by luxury private-cabin sleeper bus.

Overnight in a traditional homestay in Ha Giang City.

Itinerary

Day 1: Ha Giang City – Bac Sum Pass – Quan Ba Heaven Gate – Nam Dam Village – Lung Tam Handicraft Village – Yen Minh

Tour begins at our homestay in Ha Giang. Safety briefing with your tour guide and Easy Riders.

After leaving the city, the landscape changes dramatically as you move deeper into the mountains. Highlights include:

  • Bac Sum Pass – panoramic viewpoint, tea break

  • Quan Ba Heaven Gate – stunning mountain panorama

  • Twin Mountains (Fairy Bosom Hills)

Continue to:

  • Nam Dam Village – an authentic Dao ethnic village

    • Learn about clay-house architecture

    • Explore the village for ~2.5 hours

    • Enjoy local specialties in Quan Ba

After lunch, continue riding through small hidden valleys and back roads only locals know, offering untouched landscapes seldom visited by self-riders.

Visit:

  • Lung Tam Village – famous for hemp weaving and ethnic handicrafts

    • Visit a local family to see the traditional weaving process

Continue to Yen Minh Town for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Yen Minh – Tham Ma Slope – H’Mong King Palace – Lung Cu Flagpole – Lo Lo Chai Village – Dong Van Town

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, ride to:

  • Tham Ma Slope – iconic 9-section winding road

  • Sủng Là Valley – ancient houses and preserved H’Mong culture

Visit:

  • Lung Cu Flagpole – the northernmost point of Vietnam

    • Spectacular views over China–Vietnam border

    • Explore Lo Lo Chai Village, home of the Lô Lô ethnic minority

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Continue to:

  • H’Mong King Palace (Vương Family Residence) – historical royal home

  • Arrive in Đồng Văn Town for homestay, dinner, and free night exploration

Day 3: Dong Van – Volunteer Youth Monument – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River Viewpoint – Meo Vac – Lung Ho – Mau Due – Du Gia Village

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, begin the most iconic section of the Ha Giang Loop:

  • Ma Pi Leng Pass – “King of Vietnam’s mountain passes”, 2,000m altitude

  • Sky Path Ride – overlook the Nho Que River valley and limestone cliffs

Take unforgettable photos from multiple viewpoints along the pass.

Continue riding through remote ethnic villages:

  • Lung Ho

  • Mau Due

  • Meo Vac Town (lunch stop)

In the afternoon, ride deeper into the mountains toward Du Gia Village, known for:

  • Amazing tiered rice fields

  • 7 ethnic groups living peacefully together

  • Rich culture and warm hospitality

Dinner and overnight with a Tay minority family. Enjoy “happy water” in the evening.

Day 4: Du Gia – Du Gia Waterfall – Duong Thuong Valley – Thai An Road – Bac Me – Ha Giang City → Hanoi

After breakfast:

  • Visit Du Gia Waterfall, a pristine hidden gem

  • Say farewell to the host family

  • Continue riding through dramatic landscapes

  • Duong Thuong Valley – wide open mountain panorama

Arrive back in Ha Giang City in the afternoon.
