ITINERARY

Phong Nha – Tan Hoa – To Mo – Tan Hoa – Phong Nha

07:00 – 07:30 – Pick up from your hotel/guesthouse in Phong Nha. Drive 70 km over the Da Deo Mountain Pass to reach Tan Hoa ethnic minority village and Oxalis Headquarters. Store extra luggage at the office.

08:00 – Safety briefing, gear check, and sign the Release Form.

08:30 – Trek 2 km across peanut and buffalo fields to reach the Rao Nan River.

09:00 – Cross the river and explore Hang Chuot (Rat Cave), discovering its massive formations for up to 280 meters.

10:30 – Trek through Hung Ton Valley to Hung Ton Cave. Descend a 15 m ladder with a safety rope, swim 50 m through the cave, and follow an underground river to To Mo Valley.

12:30 – Enjoy a BBQ lunch beside a scenic waterfall and optional swimming.

13:30 – 16:00 – Trek over Hung Ton Mountain (1 km), across Hung Ton Valley (500 m), and a small hill to return to Rao Nan River (500 m). Cross back over peanut and buffalo fields (2.5 km) to Oxalis Headquarters. Refresh with a cold drink and shower.

17:00 – 18:30 – Drive back to Phong Nha and drop off at your hotel/guesthouse.
