The Hang Tien Cave 2 Day Tour is an ultimate jungle and cave adventure in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. Combining trekking, caving, and outdoor camping, this tour takes you deep into the Vietnamese jungle to explore Hang Tien, or “Fairy Cave,” the largest cave in the Tu Lan cave system.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Phong Nha – Tan Hoa – Hang Ruc

07:30 – 08:00 – Pick up from your hotel in Phong Nha. Drive to Oxalis’s Tan Hoa office, passing through scenic jungle and fields. Receive safety instructions, collect gear, and sign the Release Form.

10:30 – Begin trekking into the jungle. First section includes a 1-hour uphill trek, followed by a downhill path along the river.

13:00 – 13:30 – Stop for lunch in the jungle.

14:00 – Cross the river and continue to Hang Ruc, a picturesque stream cave with short swims and flowstone cascades.

16:00 – Trek upriver to the campsite next to a natural jungle pool. Swim, take photos, and relax. Porters prepare a BBQ dinner for the night.

Day 2: Hang Tien 1 – Hang Tien 2 – Tan Hoa – Phong Nha

08:00 – Breakfast at the campsite.

09:00 – Explore Hang Tien 1, a large chamber featuring stunning formations and Gour pools. Climb ladders to reach the cave exit around 11:00.

11:30 – Trek into Hang Tien 2, exploring 300 meters of subterranean formations before exiting and enjoying a picnic lunch.

13:00 – 16:00 – Return trek to the road, with cold drinks waiting.

16:00 – 18:30 – Shower, change, and transfer back to Phong Nha. Tour ends at your hotel around 18:30.
