Cu Chi Tunnels Half Day Tour is carefully designed to help visitors gain a deeper understanding of Viet Nam’s history, resilience, and wartime ingenuity, while enjoying a smooth and informative journey.

A CAPTIVATING JOURNEY INTO A HIDDEN HISTORICAL MARVEL

Located approximately seventy kilometers northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, the Cu Chi Tunnels are among the most important historical sites in southern Viet Nam. This underground network stretches over two hundred and fifty kilometers and was constructed during the wars against French and American forces.

More than a military structure, the tunnels formed a complete underground living system that included hospitals, meeting rooms, kitchens, storage areas, and secret escape routes. Today, the Cu Chi Tunnels stand as a powerful symbol of determination, survival, and creativity.

    TOUR ITINERARY

Your Vietlook Travel guide and vehicle will pick you up from selected hotels in District One. After pick-up, the journey to the Cu Chi Tunnels begins and takes approximately one and a half hours.

    LAM PHAT LACQUERWARE WORKSHOP

Along the way, the tour stops at Lam Phat, a local lacquerware workshop that provides employment opportunities for people with disabilities, many of whom were affected by the long-term consequences of war, including Agent Orange. Guests can observe the traditional lacquerware production process and support meaningful local handicrafts.

BEN DINH SECTION – CU CHI TUNNELS

Upon arrival, you will explore the Ben Dinh section of the Cu Chi tunnel system. This area played an important role during the Resistance War Against America from 1955 to 1975 and served as a key base for guerrilla forces operating around the Saigon region.
