The festival usually takes place on the 12th day of the 10th lunar month every year, at Cam Gia Communal House. This is one of the festivals with its own unique cultural values, imbued with the identity of the ancient capital.
Cam Gia Communal House is a sacred place to worship Prime Minister La Gia, Duke Le Trung Nghia, who contributed to the country, and is also a place to worship other gods.
In front of Cam Gia Communal House is a natural crescent lake with clear water all year round, the communal house has the architectural features of the Nguyen Dynasty, in front of the communal house are 2 rows of sacred animals, stone elephants, stone horses, to the right of the communal house is the literary area worshiping Confucius, and the stele house honoring the names of the Doctors.
After going through the resistance war, the communal house is still intact, currently Cam Gia Communal House has been recognized as a provincial historical relic.
The festival is also an opportunity for descendants to express their gratitude and remember the generation of ancestors who founded the village, and to wish for a peaceful and prosperous nation, and for everyone to be warm and happy.
The festival includes 4 ceremonies: the Cao Nieu ceremony, the An prayer ceremony, the incense offering ceremony and the Tat ceremony, with a sacrificial ceremony, a sacrificial ceremony for male and female officials, and is organized solemnly and solemnly, performed through traditional rituals with sincere hearts, in order to preserve the culture of the homeland, in the tray of offerings including sticky rice, pig’s head, betel, wine, fruit…

The highlight of the festival is the sticky rice making competition. Every year on the 11th night of the Lunar New Year, people will gather at the village cultural house to organize the cooking and making of sticky rice. When the sticky rice is soft, it will be made into trays and pig heads. One ceremony is held by the people at the cultural house, and the other ceremony is held at the village communal house. On the day, the organizing committee will score and award prizes to the teams.
