Ha Long Carnival takes place on the occasion of April 30 – May 1, serving locals and tourists to come and enjoy, besides there are many programs and events taking place during the holiday, especially the vibrant fireworks festival.

It is expected that in the coming time, Ha Long will re-organize traditional festivals such as: New Rice Celebration of the Tay people, Dai Phan Festival of the San Diu ethnic group, Loi Am Pagoda Festival, Cai Lan Temple Festival, Long Tien Pagoda Festival… and traditional village festivals such as: Bang Ca Village Festival, King Le Thai To Temple Festival…
On the occasion of April 30 – May 1, Ha Long will also hold a high-altitude fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. on May 1, during the Carnaval festival in the Ha Long coastal area, lasting 15 minutes, promising to bring a night of eye-catching festival for locals and tourists during the holiday.
